writing, waiting, sleeping a little not much, drinking a lot a little too much, reading not enough but loving Hammett again, learning more about poetry and wishing my cousin would call. It is three weeks into the university term so I have films to watch and paper work. I am getting to know a very enterprising couple. I like getting to know new people. Being enterprising for me means making sure I have the right music/reading for the two-hour commute to the coalface.

I write my first story for the new year. 1500 words start to finish and I can’t seeing it growing much longer. I have some longer ones in the breach, but I’m trying a new process. 2015 was a tough year for writing, sooner it’s put behind me the better.
