Down today

I’m little down because of two rejections today. Poor Matt having to relay this to me. I wish I’d make him some money already. But I have three pieces out there still, the collection about which wonderful Seb is so supportive and enthusiastic, and the novel more than half way through the real first draft. I have going home home home to look forward to, and working in my beloved California for a couple of weeks and getting away from the crap shack, the business, and the heat, although I will miss the kids and Eric and Marvin terribly. But so good to be in the arms of those who love me like no one can. I will kick back. Yes, as soon as I get some sleep sleep sleep.
